Traditionally, virtually all companies we came into contact with had local server solutions housed on-premise. These servers were the backbone of the IT infrastructure in the organisation and were upgraded in a 3-5-year hardware cycle.
Today, more and more organisations are deciding to push parts of their server requirements to the cloud and depend on servers hosted in large datacentres across the world. This move brings both benefits – reduction of initial investment, effortless scalability and drawbacks – privacy concerns, downtime potential due to multiple areas of weakness and lack of physical control of company data.
As an IT provider, we’re the neutral ground – We’ll recommend what suits your organisation, whether It’s cloud, on premise or a mix of the two. Ultimately the decision is up to you, often the decision you make on your infrastructure is led by factors such as internet connectivity, personal views on privacy, data control and goals and objectives your company has in the future.
As a whole – We configure & support servers which suit all sizes of organisations and have clients who use traditional server systems, virtualised systems and hosted systems on many different cloud platforms.
Architecture & Design
Designing the perfect system for your company requires considering both the present and future needs of the organisation.
Hardware, software, and application usage is considered and at a least a brief plan of future operational requirements is needed to ensure the solution is flexible enough to provide longevity for the business.
Once a plan is drawn up, ECS recommend multiple systems which will fit the criteria perfectly – During this process, you will receive guidance from our team as to the benefits each option provides so you can make an informed decision on the infrastructure you decide to go ahead with.
Upon accepting a proposal, a schedule is put in place for delivery & setup of the new system at your company’s premises. Hardware & software is configured at the ECS offices prior to installation where possible so that interruption to your business is minimalised. Weekend installations are available if required.
Our goal throughout the implementation stage of a project is to get the new solutions into the business and integrated in the shortest period of time possible, minimising down-time of business operations.
We provide complete after-care with every project; this ensures that teething issues or end-user questions can be resolved and answered leading, once again, to minimal business interruption.
